If you want to know the spread in MT4, it takes a little time. It's also quite annoying to look at the swap points by having to go through a number of clicks to get to them.
That's why this indicator is used to trade more advantageously. This "Spread_Swap" indicator for MT4 displays the spread and swap information in a sub window.
Displayed on the EURUSD hourly chart. The Spread/Swap information can be seen in the sub-window.
Tips on how to use:
The spreads on Fx pairs may be unusually high depending on the time of day (only true if your broker provides variable spreads). This indicator is very simple, but it is recommended to have it because it is very convenient. If the spread is known in real time, the trade cost can be easily reduced by simply avoiding to take trades during times when spreads are high.
Also, swap points should never be neglected. If you hold a position overnight (after the daily Forex close), you may lose significantly depending on the swap point. Depending on the day, swaps for several days may be calculated and charged by the broker. This information is often overlooked when trading in Metatrader, so use this indicator to check your swap points regularly.
