In recent years, we have heard about the ubiquitous inflation every day. And yes, it's really not a fabrication, inflation is here with us and will probably be for a long time to come. Therefore, we were not lazy again and tried to find a solution for all enthusiasts who no longer want to stand idly by as the purchasing power of their hard-earned money slowly disappears.
We have therefore come up with ETF investments that not only say goodbye to inflation, but can also often overtake it several times over, which makes them a legitimate source of passive income.
What are ETFs?
Exchange Traded Fund, also ETFs, are exchange traded funds that consist of bonds and stocks that have a clearly defined composition. Unlike mutual funds, therefore, the investor knows very well in what volume and specifically in which shares or bonds his deposits will eventually go. Thanks to this fact, investors also avoid speculation, which is a common standard for other funds.
Fees
ETF in Purple Trading
At Purple Trading, we have long strived to ensure that our clients are able to achieve the best results, which of course we try to stick to in the case of our ETFs.
For this reason, for example, we have reduced the entry fees for all ETFs to the very bottom, ie to zero. Within all “purple” ETF portfolios, only a single management fee of 0.99% p.a. (per year) and in addition another smaller fee "internal", which is around 0.2% p.a. (The final amount of this fee depends on the instruments traded within the ETF portfolios).
Perhaps you find our fees high, then keep reading and find out how our ETFs stand, for example, compared to publicly available mutual fund investments.
Mutual funds
Unlike ETFs, mutual funds are normally charged a management fee in the range of 0.9-1.5%, which we could therefore consider to be relatively comparable to the "internal" fee and the management fee for maintaining an account with our ETF funds.
However, the fundamental difference in fees for mutual funds is the so-called performance fee, which is a fee that the investor pays from the profits made to the fund manager. This fee usually reaches 10%, but also much more, so that the investor does not de facto lose 10% of the profit, but if the profit is subject to additional taxation, then logically much more.
As you can see, ETFs are not only a way to value finances, but also a way to keep profits in the right hands.
