Strategy Supertrend Main Session is a trading system designed to trade EURUSD currency pair on the H1 timeframe. This is a trending system, the main and only source of signals in which is the Supertrend indicator.

Supertrend is a self-sufficient trading tool that shows very well the current duration and probability of the continuation of the price movement trend. The disadvantage of this indicator is its uncertain performance and erroneous signals during the flat. When consolidating prices, this indicator may show false signals.
To avoid this, the trading strategy defines the period of time that is optimal for trades. This interval is the most active trading time from 7:00 to 13:00 GMT. This time span captures two sessions - European and American, which are considered the most active trading sessions of the day. Therefore, trading according to this strategy precisely in this time manages to reduce the number of false signals, since the probability of a trend movement is higher at this particular time.
Indicator setting
Applying the Supertrend indicator to the EURUSD chart on the H1 timeframe, set the following values for it:
- Set Number_of_Periods to 12.
- Set Multiplier to 4.0

Stoploss and Takeprofit
Stoploss is recommended to be placed 100 points below the line of the initiator (if this is a deal to buy) and 100 points above the line of Supertrend (if this is a deal to sell). By take profit, the deal closes when the indicator line color changes.

Please note that working with this trading strategy is better in volatile periods. Therefore, adhering to the rules of the strategy, try to open deals only in European and American trading sessions. This, as mentioned above, will help increase the percentage of profitable traders and avoid false signals during the flat.
